Jan. 2023 Call : The Cell Physics Master recruits now for September 2023 with international lecturers and practicals in Strasbourg (France) : https://t.co/uj3biedH6F

In a separate study using experiments & continuum model, we show that cell stiffness dependent height variations are important for generating the pulsations in monolayers & in setting their lengthscales (https://t.co/UuBGIalCdd). 7/7
Our study from @Raghavan_Thiaga came out recently in @iScience_CP (https://t.co/RTbNWs7K6b…). We show how two coexisting collective epithelial dynamics - pulsations & flows - are regulated. 1/7
We used a vertex model to understand the transition to pulsations & flows. We found that a dominating velocity-polarity alignment led to flows but when the velocity-polarity alignment matched the rotational diffusion, pulsations emerged. 6/7
