The 2023 golf season came to a close for the River Queens and many others. @heidizajicek (aka Jackson) was the team medalist today for the Queens shooting her best score of the season! @EmersynKeefer played in her last high school meet and will for sure be missed next season.
Despite shooting personal low rounds, the Queens still weren’t quite low enough to get a win at the Davenport North Triangular. @emersyn_keefer and @BrynnVonderohe tied for team medalist both shooting 52.
Great weather today combined with some great golf from the Queens. Finished 2nd at the Bett triangular. @emersyn_keefer was the team medalist shooting a personal best 50.
Weather presented some tough conditions today but our girls showed how tough they were as well fighting through it along with back-to-back days of 18 holes! @piper_wiesner shot low round for the Queens today for team medalist! Back in action Monday and Tuesday next week!
First meet of the season today! What great weather! All Queens who scored today were within 2 strokes of each other. 😳 Don’t think we’ve ever had that happen! Makes for competition within the team. I like it. Keep working hard!
Kings golf has had its struggles this season but I’m so proud of the strides the kids have made this season! @sabir2304 shot a 38 tonight for meet medalist against Dav North tonight!! @ohugunin13 (43) and @PasakarnisScott (49) also shot low rounds for the season! Keep going ⬇️
The Queens took care of business on Senior night in their last home meet with a win against Maquoketa. Seniors Hannah Hartman and Peyton Pasakarnis were honored. Heidi Zajicek was meet medalist with Peyton coming in second. Nice work girls! Thanks to the seniors!
Queens were in action at Duck Creek today! Peyton Pasakarnis was team medalist narrowly edging out teammates Heidi Zajicek and Emersyn Keefer by a stroke. All girls on the team scored within 10 strokes of each other! MAC conference meet is next on Monday at Kewanee Dunes.
Queens picked up their first win of the season and Heidi Zajicek finished in 16th place at the Saber Invite today! Back at it tomorrow playing in the Falcon Invite at Emeis.
Queens took on Central DeWitt today at Valley Oaks! A bit windier today than yesterday but we managed to shave 12 strokes off our team score still! Keep showing progress! Congrats to Emersyn Keefer with the team low 55 followed by Peyton Pasakarnis with a 56.
Thankfully some nice weather allowed the Queens to have their first meet of the season! Leading the way was Peyton Pasakarnis with a 58 followed closely by Heidi Zajicek and Piper Wiesner both with 59.
