I am reading a book called "Die Broke."
It is a plan to spend your last dollar on your last day on Earth. I am ahead of schedule.
I just don't know by how much.,😭😭😭😭😭
This might be an unpopular opinion, but "writing better than you speak" is not a flex for me.
I want to be so articulate that my spoken words carry the same weight as my written ones. I want a vocabulary that comes naturally, thoughts that flow effortlessly, and speech that's clear.
I want to speak with such clarity and confidence that people don't just hear me... they are forced to listen.
Answering questions from a 7-year-old is the ultimate test of human intelligence. I was asked a question today that had me staring at the wall questioning my entire existence. Google didn't even have the answer.
The question: Since you are an adult and you can buy whatever you want....why do you always look like you want to cry when you are paying for things?

I am convinced that buying and selling in Sierra Leone is a spiritual battle.
On one side, you have customers who think their Nle100 gives them the constitutional right to insult your entire family tree. They will text you by 2:00 AM and be angry that you didn't reply in 3 seconds.
On the other side, you have vendors who reply to your inquiry like they are doing you a massive, unmerited favor. You want to buy shoes, and the vendor is treating you like you are begging for alms.
When did basic respect become so expensive?
We are all just 20-30 somethings trying to survive this economy and avoid going back to the village to farm cassava. We are already fighting inflation; we don't need to fight each other too. Let's just be kind.
Are you currently dealing with a disrespectful customer or a dramatic vendor?
Drop your frustration below, this is a safe space.👇🏾
They say nobody is coming to save you, and most times, that's true. But my friends? They've saved me more times than I can count, even when they didn't know they were doing it. In small ways, in big ways. In laughter, in presence, in reminders that I'm not alone.
When you least expect it. When you need saving the most. Your good friends will save you.
I've seen my friends fight my battles for me this year that has left me feeling sooo damn lucky.
Û I love them so much.
Chess has this concept: a draw by agreement.
Both players look at the board, recognize a balanced position, and say: 'Neither of us wins here. And that's okay.'
I think about how rarely we do that in real life. In arguments. In negotiations. In relationships.
Sometimes the wise move is: 'This is a draw. Let's both walk away okay.'
Chess teaches everything
