@therealcavey Hi Fred. I’m hanging in there. There’s definitely been some setbacks, especially with lab results, so no chemo. I’ve lost about 40 lbs of water which allows me to move much easier👍. Then there’s the biliary catheter, ugh👎. Hoping to resume chemo this week. Thx✌️🌹

So the treatment I thought we settled on is not having a lasting effect on the tumors, so it’s back to the drawing board. But I now have a GI specialist that’s helping to put my liver right so that’s good! Need to get back in my guitar shop and studio before I go nuts!

In my 16 year cancer survivorship, these last 5 mos have been the hardest. I think we have settled on a treatment protocol, but getting there has beaten up my liver pretty badly. Hoping we can give it what it needs to recover and move on. Miss my Twitter friends! Hope to see u!

Hey Friends. Been away for a while trying to get my life sorted! Now doing immunotherapy and knock on wood (1 1/2 weeks in) it seems to be doing the trick without too many major side effects. Let’s hops that I see remission and get to start dancing on this blue ball again soon!!

Had round 3 this week. Half dose. Round 2 had me in the hospital with toxic ammonia levels. 1 unit transfused yesterday as well to help fight anemia. I think we got this figured out!

@therealcavey It’s been rough. Spent most of the week in the hospital. Had ammonia in my blood that made me disoriented and confused. Still trying to understand the cause, as I have another round of chemo hitting me on Thursday. Thanks for checking in, my friend.

So second round of the newer chemo regimen was yesterday and I’m no worse for wear! Numbers are improving so going as good as can be! Thanks all for your thoughts, prayers and grateful mojo!!!

@lizlovesmusic It was ‘78. I went LA to visit my girlfriend (now wife) for 3 weeks. Got back in time to start college and see the Dead with NRPS and Willie Nelson!
