But Emma may have a point - some people should not have a big dog. I’d never agree that big dogs should not exist. Ever.

@danieljohnclark @FondOfBeetles if this is about licensing then it’s about managing the humans who have the dogs. It’s not the innate character of the imaginary dog that’s at issue but its capacity to do serious harm. The character/experience of the human who owns it determines the measure of risk.

@Uncarvedblock38 @FondOfBeetles Can you share the post/discussion this is about pls? As the owner of a dog who v narrowly misses the XL Bully measurements I can attest that hes looooooooads less likely to bite than most chihuahuas but he has to be - there’s no comparison in the damage if he does.

@jk_rowling Assumes, or recognises? Reminds me of a dog training rule - don’t give commands that won’t be obeyed by (eventual) voluntary compliance. Trick is to build up to it - you can’t just shout BANG and expect them to roll over and play dead if you’ve never taught them to sit down.

@FlowerdewBob Thanks so much - I actually just found your other post explaining about the water bottle walls - Is this solid walls (of water botttles) all round with a glass top? Have never ever heard of thermal mass in water walls before - v interesting. We need flood plain solutions here
