Here’s the easiest way to increase your paywall conversion rate by 5%…
ask for the user’s name early in onboarding. Then use it inside the paywall headline.
Seeing their own name creates emotional attachment and makes the experience feel personal.
Bad paywall:
“Unlock all premium features”
Better paywall:
“ Lino, your dream body starts now.”
If you don’t know how to word your paywall title, send Claude your entire onboarding flow screen-by-screen and use this prompt:
“You are an expert in sales psychology and conversion optimization. Based on this onboarding flow, write the highest-converting paywall headline possible. Make the user feel emotionally connected to the transformation and excited about who they’re becoming. Focus on identity, emotion, and future results — not features.”
I asked Claude Fable 5 to build a game on top of my web analytics API.
It made DataEmpire: Every visitor to your site is a villager. They chop trees 🌳 build houses 🏠 and turn a campfire 🔥🏕️ into an empire as your traffic grows.
The Age of Legends unlocks at 1M visitors. Only 2 of my startups made it (ShipFast & TrustMRR).
