So it would cost £2.8bn to nationalise the big 5 energy suppliers in the U.K. but the govt refuse as they say it would be a waste, but the same govt wrote off over 7 times that in fraudulent covid grants bc it couldn’t be arsed to chase it. Policy = political choice.

@Stray2617 @GLXY_OFFICIAL @SerumDnb @VillemUK I would also say though there’s a place for combining the two. Wobbly basslines and emotive music & vocals, especially a double drop of them. That’s what I try to do in a lot of my sets and it seems to work!

@VillemUK @GLXY_OFFICIAL @SerumDnb For me, it’s about age because at 37, to keep me awake past 11pm I need some serious bass energy. The chilled stuff won’t, even though I love it & write it. Give me that at 9pm against a sunset - heaven! But for the kids, it’s also about drugs.

@GLXY_OFFICIAL @SerumDnb @VillemUK I think it’s a bit about audiences but also about time & place (for me). Do Four Tet ever play at 2-3am? I haven’t seen it. The energy of a D&B banger helps a raver keep going when tired. Chilled D&B is great up to 10/11pm & again at sunrise/for streaming.
