Avery the Poke Kid was only 12, but his love for Pokémon brought together more than 600,000 followers. One of his biggest dreams was reaching 100,000 YouTube subscribers and earning a Silver Play Button. His community rallied around him, and he got to see that dream come true shortly before his passing after nearly eight years of living with cancer.

Technoblade became one of Minecraft’s most beloved creators through his skill, dry humor and unforgettable personality. He reached 10 million subscribers before his passing from cancer at just 23, and years later, fans are still carrying his jokes, charity work and famous spirit forward. His official channel has since passed 20 million subscribers.

Avery finally held the award he dreamed about. Technoblade built something that kept growing even after he was gone. Different games, same proof that a creator can become part of people’s lives far beyond the screen.

Two young creators who proved gaming communities can become family.
