The followers of Hussain (a.s) were not martyred only in Karbala — their persecution has continued since 61 AH, leaving a trail of sacrifice and oppression throughout Islamic history.
History bears witness: killing the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s) and their followers was, in reality, enmity towards the Messenger of Allah (saww) — an enmity whose roots go back to Abu Sufyan.
After the Conquest of Makkah, when the Prophet (saww) forgave many of his enemies, Abu Sufyan was also spared — yet his hatred remained. Tradition holds that he advised his son Muawiya:
"Never honor the family of the Prophet — humiliate them and kill them whenever you can."
After Karbala, the chain of atrocities continued:
The Incident of Harra (63 AH): The army of Yazid attacked Madinah, shed blood inside the Prophet’s Mosque, violated the sanctity of the Prophet’s households, and left a stain on history that will never fade.
Imam Musa al-Kadhim (a.s) (183 AH): Imprisoned for years by Harun al-Rashid, he was poisoned out of fear of his spiritual authority.
Imam Ali al-Hadi (a.s) & Imam Hasan al-Askari (a.s): Both were confined in the garrison town of Samarra under constant surveillance, and eventually poisoned to death.
In every century, a new Yazidi tyranny has arisen, attempting to extinguish Hussain’s message — and in every century, it has perished in disgrace.
And today, the picture remains the same:
Pakistan – Parachinar: Simply for being Hussaini, markets, processions, and mosques are bombed.
Iraq, Syria, Bahrain, Afghanistan: Wherever the name of Ahl al-Bayt (a.s) is raised, mosques, imambargahs, and gatherings are attacked.
Yet one truth will stand until the Day of Judgment:
"Hussainis never die — they live in every era.
And the Yazidi mindset is always disgraced — whether it is 61 AH or 2025."

Last meet.
Before you die, it is imperative for your children to tell their future generations that you have seen the era when an 86-year old man was fighting the battle of Islam alone and all Islamic countries were flooded with Ayashis. May Allah raise the ranks of this great person and grant Iran victory. Amen
It is reported from Umar Ibn Khattab himself, who said:
"By Allah, I gave 40 rings in charity whilst I was in Rukoo', so that a verse may be revealed about me in the same way the verse was revealed about Ali Ibn Abi Talib. But not one was revealed."
