I think using AI to run solvers / sims for cards games like MTG and Pokemon is cool

Like when a new set comes out you can build an optimal deck and even run sims verses the commonly used “best meta” decks pros are using to find counter decks to those

that kind of game theory stuff interests me a lot and you can use ai to pretty easily to help break it down

I think ai is going to completely kill a lot of online competition (video games, poker, trading, digital iterations of trading card games etc.)

the competition will be who can optimize the best bot to beat everyone else’s bots

People will seek competition irl via paper trading card games to escape the AI dead internet hellscape

Bull case for trading cards and live poker hmmm? Collectibles boom? Poker boom #2? Magic the Gathering, Yu Gi Oh, One Piece and Pokemon tournaments become more popular and more lucrative for pros to compete in. Floor prices on tcg products increase.
