Our speakers include Professor John Braithwaite (Australia), Professor Ian Marder (Ireland), Lisa Marqua-Harries (South Africa), and Diane Vincent (London Metropolitan Police).
At a ceremony marking the end of the Sierra Leonean Civil War on January 18, 2002 President Ahmad Tejan Kabbah burned 3000 weapons and declared the flame a Flame of Peace over Sierra Leone. School children visited a replica of the Flame of Peace at the Civil War Memorial.
