A district that has given countless sons to the nation is mourning once again. 🇮🇳🕊️

Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu, long known as one of India's most proud military heartlands, is grieving the loss of five servicemen within a span of just six days.

Across villages, homes, and communities, families gathered with heavy hearts as tributes poured in for the brave men who dedicated their lives to serving the nation.

For generations, Jhunjhunu has been synonymous with patriotism, sacrifice, and military service. Countless young men from the district have worn the uniform with pride, carrying forward a tradition of courage that runs deep through its soil.

Today, that same land stands united in grief.

Former soldiers, local residents, and family members came together to honor the fallen heroes, remembering not only their service but also the values they represented—duty, honor, and selfless commitment to the country.

Behind every uniform is a family that serves alongside the soldier.

Behind every sacrifice is a community that feels the loss.

As Jhunjhunu mourns, the nation stands with the families of these brave servicemen and salutes their dedication to India.

Some heroes leave the battlefield.

But they never leave the hearts of the people they protected.

On this day in 1966 at Mont Blanc Dr Homi Jahangir #Bhabha lost his life in a flight crash. Father of Indian #Nuclear Programme, Bhabha came to #India during WW2.

He joined IISc Bangalore after coming from Cambridge. Time when Vikram Sarabhai was also at IISc, who later became father of Space programme. CV Raman was director of institute. Later Bhabha established Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. Time when Giants were walking the same corridor.

Bhabha conceived India’s three stage nuclear programme, ambitious one.

- Pressurised Heavy Water Reactor
- Fast Breeder Reactor
- Thorium Based Reactors

Three stage nuclear program in simple words.

India has less stock of uranium, we are importing. But we have huge thorium deposits.

So a strategy which started with uranium but in the end we will be able to use our own thorium deposits for power generation. Self sufficiency.

We haven’t achieved third yet.

क्या ये सीटें आम जनता से पहले दलालों तक पहुँच जाती हैं? ऐसा लगता है ऑटो-बॉट्स, जाली अकाउंट्स और स्क्रिप्ट्स से हजारों टिकटें हड़प ली जाती हैं।

रेलवे ने कैप्चा, आधार वेरिफिकेशन और बॉट-रोक लगाए, फिर भी सामान्य यात्री WL में ही क्यों अटक जाते हैं।
