Completely disingenuous to say Imran Khan has had 870 unique meetings. This would have meant that Khan being allowed more than one unique visit per day over the last 860 or so days. Complete rubbish!
This is like some half dead Section Officer in government spouting out statistics that have no meaning, thinking that the rest of the world is gullible enough to believe such fiction.
Clearly, the babu who compiled this data counted three sisters visiting together for fifteen minutes as three unique meetings; five lawyers having a 30 minute conversation with Khan as five unique meetings. And so on.
Khan has been denied any meetings with any political colleagues since October 2024, outside of controlled jail hearings.
The family has not been allowed to meet for weeks on end.
Lawyers are denied basic access.
And every week we have the sight of water cannons being used to spray water on Khan's family when they decide to protest the fact that court orders are not followed and Khan is not allowed to meet his family.
This time the police attacked with water mixed with chemicals. Imran Khan's sisters had been staging a peaceful sit-in outside Adiala Jail till late at night to meet their brother. Hundreds of workers were present with them. According to journalists, the police have made dozens of arrests in addition to lathicharge.

In this precarious situation, when the regime is increasingly unpredictable and ruthless, Imran Khan's family and supporters are rightly doing everything possible to keep the international spotlight firmly on him
In an exclusive interview with @SkyYaldaHakim, the sons of former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan have said they fear they might never see their father again as he is being "psychologically tortured" in a "death cell"

Sad to see someone as well educated as @mosharrafzaidi be so unconvincing in defending his position. His argument for Pakistan’s continued absence of democracy and rule of law is rather funny and rests on the claim that Pakistan has only recently found itself in a hostile neighbourhood.
By that logic, democracy should be suspended indefinitely and military dictatorship justified purely on security grounds. This is neither convincing nor principled.
For factual clarity: Imran Khan is being held in a death cell and is not being granted his basic prisoner rights. This is not a matter of opinion. The UN Working Group has already issued its opinion, and the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture has made a recent, explicit statement on this matter.
Thank you, @SkyYaldaHakim, for exposing the hypocrisy.
Pakistan’s government defended the continued imprisonment of former Prime Minister Imran Khan by arguing that changed “national security circumstances” now justify what officials once condemned as a rigged political crackdown.
Prime Minister spokesperson Masharov Zaidi acknowledged that he previously criticized Khan’s arrest and Pakistan’s “rigged system,” but claimed the situation has since changed due to external security threats, pointing to heightened tensions with India, Afghanistan, and Iran, and argued that Khan must now remain imprisoned because he poses a “national security risk,” suggesting his supporters generate unrest.
New interview of Imran Khan’s sons @Kasim_Khan_1999 and #SulaimanKhan
Thank you @SkyYaldaHakim for highlighting the fascism on Imran Khan by dictator Asim Munir and his team!
In 2023, spokesperson to the Pakistani PM, Mosharraf Zaidi, tweeted: "Imran Khan's arrest is disgraceful and reconfirms that Pakistan will not be able to become a normal country any time soon."
@SkyYaldaHakim questions him on if he still stands by this tweet ⬇️
Musharraf Zaidi is one of the most Intelligent Pakistanis! But he was so frightened by India’s Attack on Pakistan (a country 10 times the size of Pakistan?) that he turned against Imran Khan? Logic is not making any sense to me; if anyone understands then please help us all
Speaking to @SkyYaldaHakim on @SkyNews Imran Khan’s sons described the anguish and stress they endure when they are unable to get any information about their father’s condition. “It is jarring and pulls you out of whatever you’re doing.”
