@RonanCalvert You’re not even in the country & you’re complaining about where it’s being played? What. Because it’s played in Cork, you don’t think it’s worth the effort, but you’re 100% behind the team? Munster are more than where they play. They deserve support, not conditional support.
@RonanCalvert It’s a distraction to them. It’s all outside noise that Munster supporters are adding to. They shouldn’t have to release a statement, on the day of Anthony Foley’s anniversary, because of constant complaining from their own. Back the team. It’s not hard. Are you going tomorrow?
@RonanCalvert Right behind the team? You’re complaining about where it’s held. Part of a reason why Munster had to release a statement today. You’re saying the only thing that makes the team is where they play. Are you going to tomorrow?
@RonanCalvert I think growing the game is important. PUC will have more in attendance tomorrow than a full Thomond Park, which hasn’t been full in a long time. I don’t know why we can’t all get behind the team. There’s enough people trying to tear us down, I don’t know why we’re helping them.
@RonanCalvert That’s Munster, that’s the club, everything and everyone in it. Not where they play. Thomond is a special place, but to tie all of Munster’s success to it is wild.
@RonanCalvert Munster are far more than where they play. Some of Munster’s most famous days have happened away from home, do they turn into “just another team” then as well?
@AlanQuinlan1@Haganator@fihayes27@rugbychannel15 How do you plan on approaching the event with Off the Ball in Cork with some of the Munster squad? Do you plan on discussing your comments & criticism of them and how you think the squad isn’t good enough. Or do you pretend it never happened and just tell old stories instead?
@10Broderick@AlanQuinlan1@Haganator@fihayes27@rugbychannel15 https://t.co/3Zkn8jUcZ8 talked about it for approx 30 seconds. The extent of the discussion was, Spicer is a big unite, has improved his ball handling skills, was in court for causing bodily harm, played well. l don’t recall the Left Wing mentioning, which episode was it.
@AllCreaturesTV@channel5_tv Tristan had such a fantastic, in depth storyline last season, now it’s been completely forgotten about. Any character depth built has been erased. It’s like season 6 never happened. He’s almost like an extra this season. It’s a shame, there was a fantastic storyline there.
@IndoSport@bernardjackman Pretty disappointing article to be honest. There are more Munster players names floating around the transfer market because 24 of them are up for renewal this year. You think those signings were uninspiring? After watching their impact last night? I thought you knew ball Berch?
@offtheball Will @AlanQuinlan1 be discussing how poor he thinks the squad & coaches are at the live Off the Ball show, in front of Munster players and coaches? Or is this just something he’s willing to say on the radio but not in person?
@CorkGourmetGuy@TheRugbyIssue Wood was with the U20s, like he should have been, and was then injured at the end of the season. Was McMillan supposed to pick an injured player? And what’s McMillan supposed to say when talking about a player in public? Write him off and say he’s cooked? How does that work?
@CorkGourmetGuy@wilywackerwizrd@Munsterrugby Prendergast ran the attack and was the reason Munster played the way they played. He’s now gone . He picked JJ when Crowley wasn’t available. The other option was Butler who has shown he’s not up to that level & 19 year old Wood, who should he have picked instead?
@ExaminerSport Brilliant piece. The last 2 articles from @ChristypDoran have been more relevant to the issues facing Irish rugby than anything produced by Irish journalists, who seem more interested in praising Farrell or endlessly debating the No. 10 position than examining the bigger problems
@bernardjackman Having read @CianTracey1 transcript, it’s a real pity tougher questions weren’t asked by the Irish journalists. It’s very much a case of leaving him off the hook with little accountability.
@BMCC1234@RuaidhriOC@neil_treacy That’s the court report. That’s not a big long expose article from Rúaidhrí O’Connor and Cian Tracey that Munster have been on receiving end of throughout the year.
