Interop security is about more than just a validity guarantee.

Wrote a long ethresearch post that maps the 5 security properties of a chain/rollup per @sreeramkannan to 3 high level security properties of cross rollup interop.

Validity guarantees are the only security property currently being discussed and innovated upon.

Local ordering guarantees map to liveness, censorship resistance and local reorg resistance.

Global ordering guarantees map to data availability and global reorg resistance.

The post explores each of these security properties in the context of the different interop models in the industry today.

Respectfully, I'd hesitate to call what existed in 2020/2021 as "interop" since it was so centralized.
That's why I appreciate @Polymer_Labs implementing interop that aligns with the true vision of L1s
