A 58 year old man biking in the 900 block of Ensor St was killed by the driver of a car this evening. If you have any information on this crash, please contact BPD and Bikemore.
Ensor St is a six lane arterial, and was supposed to have a separated bike lane installed by 2021.

On May 25th at approximately 6:00pm, a driver failed to lawfully yield to a bicyclist riding in the Roland Ave bike lane, turning into the bike lane and knocking the bicyclist off of their bicycle.
Tonight a drunk-presenting, texting driver crashed into the traffic calming planters near my home as I was crossing the street with my neighbor.
Had they not been there, had she not hit them and instinctively swerved, it would have been both of us under her car.

While he was lying in the street, injured, another vehicle hit him. The driver that initially struck him fled the scene. The driver of the second striking vehicle remained on the scene.
