tour diary 001: this year more than any i have actively tried to face my anxiety head on and not let it take over my life. i often tell myself i thrive under pressure and therefore it’s the only way i can be high functioning but the truth is it steals a lot of joy from the things that i claim to love. touring is something that i have always loved. but those close to me know it also makes me crazy, body conscious, insecure, socially depleted, and an anxious wreck.

coming into this tour i was determined not to let that happen anymore. i’ve found a lot of strength in a solid routine, in writing down my fears and in relying on my faith and family both at home and on tour to be the best version of myself.

i really like these pictures because i think they embody some of these positive changes. i couldn’t be here without my tour family who selflessly help me carry out this vision every day. i hope everyone who has met me on this tour also knows how much their positive words have meant to me.
