Our team members on the ground are experiencing the same genocide, fear, displacement, and loss as the people we serve. https://t.co/NybupLBbUF

The Sameer Project’s videographers, bus drivers, doctors, water truck workers, therapists, cooks, accountants, lawyers, engineers, camp administrators, and cleaners are not separate from this reality. They are living inside it.

They are brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, parents, and loved ones. They are afraid of what they could lose, grieving what has already been lost, and still showing up every day to serve their communities and resist the erasure of Palestinian life.

When one of our buses was damaged after an airstrike struck nearby, our videographer had shrapnel lodged in his hand. In that moment, he was not thinking about footage or work. He was calling out for his brother.

Because our team members are not just “staff.” They are people enduring the same devastation as our beneficiaries, while continuing to care for others through it.

God bless the brave The Sameer Project team. May God protect every one of them and their families.
