We hear you. We've seen the videos of drivers running red lights, speeding, and illegally passing in the #Deltaport area. Our Traffic Section is responding with targeted enforcement and collaborating with government partners to improve road design for community safety.

Getting behind the wheel under the influence of alcohol or drugs can have life-changing consequences. Penalties range from a 24-hour to a 90-day immediate driving prohibition, vehicle impound, monetary penalties, and charges under the Criminal Code. #NewWest#GetHomeSafeBC
Due to the Canada Post disruption, driver's licenses, insurance renewal reminders, and claims cheques won't be mailed. Instead you'll get a 90-day interim license. Check your policy expiry date & sign up for direct deposit to avoid claims payment delays ➡️ https://t.co/3vjPdlpir1
Driving in low visibility conditions like fog or rain requires extra caution. Follow these #RoadSafety tips:
🔹 Lights on: Use low beams & turn on headlights/taillights.
🔹 Slow down: Adjust speed for conditions.
🔹 Keep distance: Double your usual following gap.
🔹 Prep ahead: Check tire pressure & plan extra travel time.
This holiday season, we are dedicated to combating #ImpairedDriving through enforcement and collaboration. 🚔
