On #WorldRhinoDay2021 we wanted to teach you an art form known mostly to rhino researchers, managers, owners, vets and travel guides...how to AGE a young rhino. There are 6 age classes from A-F, adapted from a publication in the 1990s and widely utilised ever since:

7. Age class F are 7+ years and considered adults, although they may not reproduce for a few years still. White rhino males should be starting to take an interest in females, expressing some independence, and possible territory marking. Females have often already calved by 6-7yrs
