an open letter,
minutes before swoops part three is dropping i want to say something.

firstly, my dear @SpankieV
genuinely thank you so much for everything over the past few months, your incredibly delicate approach to everything has made me feel so comfortable & also come to terms with a lot i never thought i’d have the courage to speak about. you provided me with a voice (both privately & publicly) that has honestly changed my life far beyond the internet, things i can apply to my day to day mental health and well being

secondly, to the audience, i just want you all to know, the swoop you see is the swoop you get, an incredibly dedicated person who is committed to the truth and nothing but it.

i had spoken with swoop / done an interview a while back for part one & mentally started to process & move on from that experience. when in paris with my mum and dad, swoop called me one night while i was sipping a glass of bordeaux red wine by the eiffel tower with my parents, with news that changed everything about the situation. to say blind-sighted/stressed/shocked/saddened is an understatement.

a day later we did an interview, i used shitty hotel wifi and did my best to remain composure, which was incredibly hard, that night my parents and i went to moulin rouge in paris, and at the end of the show, i started crying the most i had ever cried to my mum and dad about how scared i am and sad that i feel everyone i trust i then can’t trust anymore due to them being shady / using me. when i left the show and went back to the hotel to do our interview, it lasted until about 4/5am paris time, which was because swoop was so delicate with my feelings & let me take moments and just generally was a person i feel i could, and still can trust.
