South African Jews were quite a prominent force against Apartheid and were overrepresented in the anti-Apartheid movement. Just to give an example, look at the names of those arrested during the Rivonia Trial. It’s Jews (Bernstein, Goldreich, Hepple, etc.) and Bantu-apes.
Meanwhile Israel was actually quite an important partner for the government, maybe because they recognized being in a similar situation? Alone in a hostile region. Especially in terms of military cooperation, Israel was a valuable ally (missile program, Atlas Cheetah, etc.)
Anyways, I think this ape and his legion of vermin gets funded by ‘well-connected’ and wealthy Jews.
@boerseer@schomburgk7500 No, Dutch and Indo people just packed their bags and left after the so-called revolution. There were only 250k in 1940 (not even 1% of the population).
Afrikaner and Indo history is not comparable. It’s more comparable to Whites who remained in the Cape during the Trek.
@boerseer@schomburgk7500 It applies whether your mother was Indonesian or whether your great-great-great-grandmother was Indonesian, you’ll be ‘Indisch’ (Indo), which is distinct from ‘Indonesisch’ (Indonesian).
Or if your granddad just happened to be born in Batavia (Jakarta), you’re also Indo.
@boerseer@schomburgk7500 That number includes a) Indonesians with European legal status in the Dutch East Indies; b) ethnic Dutch with family ties to the Dutch East Indies; and c) mixed-race Indonesian-Dutch.
For quite a lot, it’s the same as an Afrikaner having a distant Khoisan ancestor.

African-Ukrainian model Regina Mayakovska was forced to flee her native Donetsk when Russia invaded in 2014. Mayakovska grew up speaking Ukrainian and Russian and says claims that Russian speakers are oppressed is “all bullshit.” As year three of the war approaches, I will spend the rest of the year talking with Black people who live in Ukraine and get their perspective of how the war impacts them.
On Feb. 8, Mayakovska will share her story of being an Afro-Ukrainian model, living under Russian occupation as a Black woman and her thoughts on what a peace deal that includes ceding land to Russia will mean for her and her family on Black Diplomats Official YouTube channel.
