The tragic death of #students living in a private PG in Satya Niketan, near #DelhiUniversity's #SouthCampus, is heart-wrenching.

Tragedies of this scale are often hijacked by political parties looking to score points against rivals.

My advice to #Congress & #AAP/#CJP: at a time when families are enduring unimaginable grief, do not turn this into a platform for political gain, nor exploit sensitive situations for political advantage.

Ensuring the well-being of our students must be our top priority. At the same time, instead of getting entangled in a game of partisan blame games, we must address systemic flaws, punish negligence & set a strong example that student lives are irreplaceable.

The protests in the capital sparked by the national examination paper leaks highlight a highly violent & deeply rooted political strategy rather than core #student advocacy. Both the Congress+Samajwadi Party & the AAP are leveraging the momentum that the #protests are less about student welfare And more about political posturing & outmaneuvering Each other. Now, the protests are simply competition within the opposition, Specifically between the #AAP & #Congress.

This holds True for such protests: while leaders of organizations like #CJP build their public profiles or strategic leverage, the young followers/supporters engaging in street protests often bear the brunt of legal consequences & academic disruptions.

The core student concerns have been overshadowed by this political gamesmanship & the resulting escalations, making the demonstrations more about optics, chaos, political parties presence & testing the govt's resilience than securing systemic reforms.
