@BestStephenD@MarkJCarney@liberal_party Every time I hop onto X, I encounter people who are at war with reality. Where is this level of madness coming from?
@greg_scott84@CTVNews They might start by eliminating the billions currently being spent by Liberals on "consultants" who keep doling out terrible advice. Eliminating other scams will net billions more in savings.
@cafreeland So if Trump had lost, you wouldn't be running? Also, I'm pretty sure that Trudeau's the biggest threat to Canada since World War 2, edging out the Soviet Union and the separatists.
@Martyupnorth_2 He'll make us even more of a post-nation state than we are today. Trudeau 2.0 is only an upgrade in terms of his ability to do basic math.
@cafreeland The Liberals are too weak to stand up to Pierre Poilievre, which is why parliament is peroged. You are all running scared but trying to trick us with tough talk.
@TheVotersSay@PeterHRatcliffe You can add to the list the litany of funding scandals, toxic relations with an in-coming US administration, and rising crime rates.
@Stockwell_Day No - for many reasons, and for those who'd push economic considerations, we'd have our household and provincial debts plus the USA federal debt and their unfunded liability. We'd be the most indebted people to have ever existed.
@greg_scott84 No - because I don't believe the Prime Minister should serve as the head of government and the head of state. There is value in keeping these roles separate.
@jmbprime Given how obvious the reason is (Thomas Mulclair has explained it pretty well), it makes me wonder if any journalists work for the major newspapers.
@BridgetOlsen19@PierrePoilievre Unnamed sources say that people who hate and malign conservatives want Pierre Poilievre replaced with someone significantly less talented. Go figure.
@brandy_withawhy The parents who send their kids to these schools pay taxes to support a system they obviously don't benefit from. Will you give them a refund on those taxes?
@allexander321 Pierre doesn't need the support of the house. As the official opposition, he can't really be expected to have it. All he needs is the confidence of his party, and he clearly has that.
