@1GarethWynJones@agricontract@GeorgeMonbiot Read Guy's submission to the Land Use Framework consultation, for a more up to date synopsis of the above. He's freely shared it on Bluesky and X I believe.
@1GarethWynJones@agricontract@GeorgeMonbiot Yes, but he's highly active on Bluesky, retained by the Gaurdian (sic). Combined with Shrubsole they write more letters, articles, board advisories. books, pamphlets, consultation submissions than the CLA and NFU combined.
@AndyClaydenPtns@JoeWStanley Far too cultured - those that throw those slogans always interject F****** and C*** in, even when they don't know you from Adam. Indeed you were a C*** even before the IHT revision - simply through your occupation.
@harrisonbobo@PaulWoldfarm Indeed we are - 69.5m probably, and the black economy is runnimg close to 500bn per annum (about 150bn in 2010), maybe 120bn direct tax evasion (3.5 - 4x HMRC estimates), yet TrivialDaddy is fixated on 500m IHT from farmland.
@1GarethWynJones Proposed. He's lobbying for a 2% annual tax on assets over 10m (have a think about that). Despite crowing i'll be first to pay, he'll hold everything incorporated and won't surrender a dime (he has some 127 separate directorships). Likely we are the stupid.
@1GarethWynJones Thing is he's not close to stupid. I'd bet the farm he will increase his net worth five to ten fold within the next four years under this government. Already got Heckington fen solar granted this week - 1300 ac of panels, 160 ac on grade 1 linc silt, 500 on grade 2. 22 turbines
@turbotechdog I have stockpile of better topsoil from groundworks projects. 60-100 ton in pull outs, corners and gateways makes a helluva difference on the heavy clay.
