Father's Day 2025 Recommendations:
FILM - Big Fish (Tim Burton, 2003)
SONG - Sometimes You Can't Make It on Your Own (U2, 2004)
POEM - Do not go gentle into that good night (Dylan Thomas, 1947)
Listen to songs that cry with you and lets you release all that sadness. Listen to angry songs that empower you to fight back and make that needed change. Not everything can be fixed by good vibes. Too much of anything can be destructive.
Have the courage to be alone
Like an endless and drifting song
Echoing your ripples through eternity
Only then can you achieve ultimate freedom - indemnable and serene
Pray for the courage to be alone
In this often dark and lonely world
Where most people around you will only suck your being
Masquerading as shiny apples and morning dews
Seek the courage to be alone
As you yourself is your only refuge and your home
For no one fully understands the shapes and colors of your true spirit
To separate is to blossom in a sea of nebula
Who you support and idolize reflects who you are. Whether it be leaders, sports stars, musicians, celebrities, and sometimes even the friends you have. One easily relates to those who share beliefs, morals, and advocacies with them.
Finding it extremely hard to get self-motivation specially when you don't get anything from others as they assume you're just fine. I'm artistically contented but practically-speaking, it's going nowhere. Being an artist is both a blessing and a curse. I might just give this up.
How do you justify this condition?
Could it be that you're in hell and this, in reality, is punishment?
Or is there a deeper purpose that you will never unravel?
To be enlightened in a time when ignorance flows abundantly;
To be ignored, shunned, and misunderstood by maniacs incessantly laughing day after day, night after night;
To be persuaded into losing yourself in exchange of conformity;
To be the well, in a hot barren land, that...
...the good inside of everyone despite the clear corruption of their soul... and to loathe yet still love humanity.
All of this, it makes you question your reason...
Beauty is an amplifier of minimal talent. Even the most mediocre efforts instantly get praised when you have a face that could launch a thousand ships. Meanwhile, too many average-looking people get ignored despite their full efforts and substantial contribution to society.
Meanwhile, too many average-looking people get ignored despite their full efforts and substantial contribution to society. This applies to everywhere in our daily lives: in arts & humanities, politics, workplaces, and even among your circles.
