Sombre day in Canberra.
I live on the western fringe in a suburb that was forest back in 2003. My home is 750m from the ACT Bushfire Memorial. I take climate resilience seriously.
The ACT Emergency Services learned a lot from 2003 which we saw 2019/20.

@JenergyLight Don’t watch if fires triggers in a way you can’t cope with, it this shows what residents & emergency workers faced. It’s confronting. https://t.co/9ZXVamNtww
Recently I learned about a man who has trained 1,000+ people to block wind and solar projects.
I read through all his training materials, presentations, and seminars.
Here's what I learned about him and how his students plan to "win the war on clean energy."

ACT Covid at home care and Garran clinic only operate business hours. Pretty challenging when symptoms get worse at 6pm on a Friday. Hooray for CALMS. Also no chemists open southside after 6pm. Seems like something is not right @ACTHealth @ABarrMLA
Minister @YvetteSBerry it seems a bit crazy to have RATs handed out at ACT primaries between 10 and 2 on a school day, with only parents allowed to collect them. What are working parents supposed to do? I know it’s very hard at the moment but this one needs a rethink please.
Congratulations to @VikingsCycling, winners of #ACZwiftSeries after leading from start to finish!🎉
Well done to all 45 clubs that participated in the AusCycling National Club Esports Series.

@ACTHealth How about Cootamundra? No COVID there. The ACT has done a really good job so far but based on some logic. This approach seems arbitrary at best. Needs a rethink @ABarrMLA
Exclusive: New interviews describe how Josh Frydenberg lobbied AGL to sack its chief executive because he was too active on climate change. https://t.co/AWCcgWLzyl
