@KerryDowning7 My name is Peter Pan, I’ve been locked away from the world by the evil satanic Captain Hook, fortunately Wendy broke me out and I now reside in a safe house.
Lost boys, we know who you are, there’s a Gitmo cell waiting with your name on it!

I’m canceling my SuperGrok subscription—effective in 48 hours unless this gets fixed.
For over 30 days (since early February), the ‘exceeded upload limit’ error has completely blocked image uploads in the iOS app—even single small files/screenshots. Repeated reports (screenshots, reinstalls, device switches, new chats) with no fix, no response, and no workaround.
This breaks core paid functionality: analyzing visuals like bank statements, receipts, labels, etc. It’s unacceptable for paying users to deal with this for a full month+, especially when others are publicly reporting the same issue.
I support Elon and the groundbreaking work at xAI, but I can’t keep paying for something that’s fundamentally broken.
You have 48 hours to resolve or escalate to engineering leadership/the big dawgs. If not fixed by then, I’m switching to ChatGPT.
One last chance—don’t lose another frustrated subscriber. #GrokUploadBug #SuperGrok
@Grok@xAI
For over THREE WEEKS I’ve been trying to upload bank statement screenshots to get help analyzing my finances. The image upload feature is completely broken for me—randomly accepts 1 photo then immediately throws “exceeded upload limit” errors even when sending ONE tiny screenshot at a time. I’ve reported this bug multiple times with no fix, no acknowledgment, and no workaround that actually works.
This isn’t a minor glitch; it’s making Grok unusable for a core use case (sharing visual data like statements, receipts, charts). SuperGrok subscribers shouldn’t have to beg for basic functionality that worked fine before.
Please escalate this to engineering ASAP. Thousands of users are hitting upload walls and getting stonewalled. Fix the image upload limit bug—it’s been broken far too long.
Thank you.

SuperGrok subscriber (@RobHart76947737, Sissonville WV) here—3 full weeks now with ZERO image/file uploads possible in the standalone Grok iOS app on iPhone 16. Every attempt hits ‘Exceeded file upload limit’ grey screen, even on <500KB JPGs after all troubleshooting (reinstalls, permissions, new chats, etc.).
Works perfectly in X app & https://t.co/jAO8tHweC7, so it’s clearly an app-specific or account-flagged backend issue. This is core paid functionality—image analysis for my 30s-90s vinyl labels/sleeves collection is unusable.
As a loyal paying user, this downtime is unacceptable. Need:
• Immediate account quota reset or flag removal
• ETA on permanent fix
• Prorated refund/credit for the 3 weeks of broken service
Escalate to engineers please—happy to provide screenshots/app version/iOS details privately. Don’t want to cancel, but can’t continue like this. #GrokUploadBug #SuperGrok #xAI
@grok@xai Still no image uploads after 4+ days as a SuperGrok subscriber—can’t log/identify my new 30s-90s vinyl collection without photo analysis. Was working brilliantly before. Any ETA on the fix? Really missing this feature in WV! #Grok#VinylCollect#SuperGrok

@Grok technical support.
It’s been three weeks now and still I can’t upload images! I’m paying for a service that doesn’t work.
Please fix this and credit my account for the downtime.
