🇬🇧 In the United Kingdom, the Labour Party has fallen to some of its worst numbers in history, losing half of its support. The hard right is leading, and Labour has even been overtaken by a party to its left.

🇩🇰 In Denmark (before the Greenland episode), the Social Democrats were polling at historically low levels, down 11 points since 2022. The Socialist/Green left was almost tied with them, while the far-right parties (Æ, O, H) were hovering around 20%.

So isn’t it quite obvious that copying the far right’s rhetoric and abandoning ambitious social policies only strengthens parties to your left — while failing to stop the far right itself?

High-quality social policy, positivity, hope, and common sense should be the way forward!!
