@PeterStefanovi2 This government making the same mistakes as the last. Floating something e.g., tax threshold increase, and then dropping it. Makes them look foolish and incoherent.
@andyburnham@lewis_goodall Now doing something about all the unoccupied properties and plots developers are sitting on to speculate. Approx 750000 homes unoccupied.
Most British politicians now know Brexit has failed.
They know the public mood has changed.
They know closer integration with Europe is inevitable.
But they still communicate as though Nigel Farage is standing behind them with a cattle prod.
This is not leadership.
It is collective political trauma.
This post on Farage, Cottrell and Nathan Gill us being suppressed by the X algorithm. It's popular, with 335 views, but it has only been allowed 3.5k views. That's strange given that social media algorithms are supposed to favour posts that get high engagement rates.
May, Johnson, Truss, Sunak, Starmer. Burnham...
and still the denials that Brexit fucked Britain.
and will continue to fuck it some more, unless we accept the brutal truth.
The UK *needs* to rejoin the EU
No single market, no freedom of movement, no customs union...
No fucking point...
Let's hope the UK, through its umpteenth PM since Brexit, at long last, ends the denials & drops the ruinious Nick Timothy (T. May) red lines...
