From gpt image 2 generated conecpt to working prototype that is now being implemented into my tooling
no model before this got it this right even with heavy hand holding and exploration. Even built a mockup studio(proper tooling to make something like this a little easier to repeat and implement) but that ultimately went nowhere as it grew too much and became it's own project.
Astra just cooked for 5 hours and this is without even a proper workflow so once that is solidifed this will speed up even faster
No more ugly UI and UX when working with AI
@rystrave Had tacos 20 minutes ago so I took out the left overs and tried this…. Fuck you it actually works better than the video gives away
20 years of over filling the tortilla and getting food on my fingers, now it comes to an end
How about you use your internal model to create something that mogs the sidebar so I don’t have to fucking fight it every time I need the transcript and view results in the side pane
This is the only thing that genuinely pisses me off every time I ask to create some kind of object and want to visually inspect it…so almost every day
It’s by far the largest reason for me wanting to quit using codex and started building my own tooling on top of https://t.co/09itTQlutj
Started working on a proper right click menu for my tooling and having be partially context aware and partially a set of actions that work across most surfaces it’s becoming the only control surface needed except for some truly niche actions that only really make sense in that part of the tool.
Basically the right click menu becomes the default control surface for 90% of the entire tooling.
And when I’m starting to think about ctrl+ right click and alt + right click then….
Wtf
I was in this camp, didn't see much use for them but once you get the hang of it and don't just use them because they exist it unlocks new ways to get work done and get things faster
also new issues but that's easily solved especially with the latest sota models that doesn't need much steering in terms of how to use agents
@imrobertjames@AndrewCurran_@davis7@atmoio Bro was the ultimate p(doomer) and made his entire channel about how everything about AI is shit and it’s turning everything to shit
Now he’s selling AI products and had a change of heart at the same moment
It’s weird and it’s what people are reacting to
@TokenGremlin that's the thing with any hype
they probably were super excited about it but for many outside it was...not on that level
hence why getting hyped about something mostly leads to disappointment
@theo so the sidebar when cluttered isn't good
when it's empty it's wasting space
maybe some kind of area for presenting ongoing work? that's not a sidebar that is
@glorpiak@_architected no I understand it completely, I've used codex long enough
They could simly implement an opt out though, they would probably like that as well. Fewer to service the reset to.
They probably just never thought to ask :D
and right here is why the archify objects skill is so good
seemingly simple enough diagram but it highlights what happens post work(in this case) to our Durable object. Turns out we never determined where or how it's stored, file or sqlite database
Didn't take even five minutes to catch it but it would've taken a whole lot longer to debug and test and verify and fix. A lot longer
This is how I review what got built or when ideation is done and it's time for planning and what to turn into actual implementation and how the implementation fits into the system
what isn't seen here is also the guidelines for how the agent explains it, so I can understand it without having to ask. This has gotten much better with opus 5.5 and Fable 5.5 but for me personally I still need a few guidelines for how to word use
@GamefxAI it's the future though
any ipo becomes an bundle of assets with lore and such and then the community does what the creators can't or wont
Doom from Id software is a great example
this of course can turn terribly wrong as well
We'll see
@AyaanBuild@IndependentEco I've been lucky enough to get routed to Fable 5.5 and it's a step up from Fable 5.1 but it eats my rates all the same, at least it seems to do so
