@OldRowSwig What's happening: X is full of rubbish, posturing, lies, political BS, faux outrage, and just generally not a reliable source of info or measure of public opinion
@NateSilver538 England have qualified. They have four points. The teams in third and fourth have zero. Mathematically impossible for England to finish third.
@esccroads The temp traffic lights at the junction of Priory Avenue and Braybrooke Road are not working. Main lights out as well. Busy and unsighted junction. There will be a horrible accident. @hastingsbc@EastSussexCC@sussex_police
@Se_Railway@Se_Railway bus has turned up at Stone gate, passengers detrained and boarded bus only to be told to get off bus as another train was coming down the line that we could get on. Terminated train still at platform blocking line, bus still in car park. What should we be doing?
@the_zb_ Compromise could be to allow the engines for 2026 but make any offending teams carry ballast which reduces their lap times by the estimated time advantage they've gained from the higher compression rate
@RichardBurgon ...and do what? Why don't you call for a specific action rather than just nice sounding words? Probably because you know that your position is legally untenable. Whatever you think about their politics they're on remand for violent, criminal offences.
@ZackPolanski I was seriously considering voting Green at the next election and I like your refreshing take on politics BUT this is just silly. They're not being held for protesting and they've chosen to go on hunger strike, nothing is being forced on them. Be honest about it.
@JScott457@farzyness Isn't the truth more complicated than that? Government plays a role through procurement, financial investment, and due to the historical engineering knowledge that SpaceX and others have relied on to push further.
