2/ It’s even more complicated. Scottish viewers (unlike say with Swiss viewers re Germany) get an essentially English worldview beamed into households during tournaments. This can sharpen attitudes.
England, not Britain are playing.
So wish them well, or not - as you see fit.

Unbelievable. When I tried to cheer up my friend Frank by popping on some of his late wife’s clothes and singing islands in the stream people said it was out of order and ruined the funeral. One rule for them another for the rest of us.
