@MonicaHone @CamCurat @GreaterCambs @camcitco Unfortunately siltation can happen quite quickly in a silt laden catchment (it might need doing again next year). The main task of the water jet is to break the calcified crust layer of gravel. Gravel cleaning is a short-term fix, not a sustainable solution.

Am pleased to report on successful gravel cleaning training given to @CamCurat. Fixed black gravel is now good for trout spawning. Water jets and leaf blowers used, just before Babet put an end to our day. Thx to @GreaterCambs and Rob @camcitco for funding. Next tree hinging.
