For example why not 5 for S because it’s similarity in shape?

Seems more direct as you can read them like letters already. As opposed to 5—>L and 5—>E

I’d have expected SIMILARITY in SHAPE, as in l33t sp34k to be best, but experts seem to prefer SOUND.
