Lammy is lying. The NPCC's official "Police Anti-Racism Commitment" explicitly rejects colour-blind policing and equal treatment: it calls for "equality of policing outcomes" by responding to people "according to their specific needs... with understanding that these will be racialised" — and states it "does not mean treating everyone ‘the same’ or being ‘colour blind’."

The murderer may have been born in Britain to parents not of this country, but he weaponised race/ethnicity to secure preferential treatment. This is clear from the phone recording and bodycam footage, where the victim died in police custody because the system prioritised the attacker’s race/ethnicity over the dying teenager’s pleas because he was white.
It's unreal that common-sense policies and straight talk always seem to come from the party in opposition. Yet when your party was in power for 14 years, where was this when the country needed it? there was no fundamental change of direction and little correction of the damage left by the previous government — just more of the same.
Observing Liebour and the Cons it reminds me of a relay team, running in the same direction and simply passing the baton. Real change is needed.
@jennytyrrell31 The relevant benchmark is the demographics of the specific area where the offence occurred—not the national average.
National minority status doesn’t magically exempt groups from local realities.
@godblesstoto How is the brother not being charged with perverting the course of justice, false allegations, assisting a murder? What is the CPS doing, that phone call surly is enough evidence to get a conviction?
Our grandfathers fought actual Nazis in a war that was ment to preserve Britain’s sovereignty and way of life. Today, those who simply highlight post-war demographic replacement and a two-tier system that often treats natives worse than newcomers are smeared as “far-right Nazis.” What was the point of their sacrifice?
Has Michael Gove lost his memory? The Conservative Party is dead. In their 14 years in power, they did virtually nothing to reverse the profound damage Tony Blair inflicted on this country. It is astonishing to hear him speak as if none of this happened. Does he truly believe the voters who once gave the Conservatives a huge majority will simply forgive and forget?
As for Kemi Badenoch, what exactly is she trying to conserve? Having lived in Britain for only around 30 years with no deep ancestral roots in this country, it is hard to see how she can genuinely reconnect with or defend the historic British identity and institutions that conservatives are supposed to protect. Without that foundation, it is doubtful she will reverse any of the major changes of the past decades.
