Iowa Primary Absentee Voting Numbers Update w/1 Day left of early voting.
Total absentee ballots cast by party:
🔵 Democrats: 38,011 absentee ballots
🔴 Republicans: 24,190 absentee ballots
Participation rate diff. by registered voters:
🔵 Dem: 6.95% (2022) → 7.66% (2026) = +0.71%🟢↑
🔴 Rep: 4.98% (2022) → 3.50% (2026) = -1.48%🔴↓
Republicans have 200K more registered voters than Democrats, but they're still losing the early vote by nearly 14,000 ballots. There is a clear enthusiasm gap that Republicans need to close.

Strong on paper: Iowa Republicans hold a nearly 200K voter edge, but early signs for the June 2nd primary are stark!
Republican absentee participation is down by about half (5.2% → 2.6% of active registrants) vs 2022, while Dems are holding steady (7.2% → 6.2%).
Despite a competitive gubernatorial primary, GOP turnout is trending sharply down, potentially 16-22% fewer total votes. Dem decline is mostly just fewer reg. voters.
The Republican voters are there, but GOP candidates could face BIG upsets statewide in November unless they and the party can turn these numbers around! #IowaGOP #IAPolitics
9,602 signatures. 9,602 Iowans who are ready to step out, stand up, and Keep Iowa Free.
That’s the message sent today as our campaign officially filed signatures from all 99 counties across Iowa to qualify for the Republican primary ballot.
This campaign has always been about the people of Iowa — the farmers, small business owners, parents, workers, and patriots who love this state and want to protect the values that make it special.
And this is just the beginning.
We’re going to keep building this movement, keep traveling the state, and keep fighting for a future where — as Governor — we protect our freedoms, strengthen our communities, and ensure Iowa remains the best place in America to live, work, and raise a family.
The momentum is real, and we’re just getting started.
If Rob Sand is Governor, the Left will call for an overhaul of the Board of Regents:
"Rob Sand...should adopt the Virginia model used by Governor Abigail Spanberger, who demanded university board resignations to prioritize stability over political theater."

Thank you to the 100+ pastors from 38 counties who have joined the Adam Steen Pastors Coalition!
These are leaders who shepherd families, counsel the hurting, and preach truth without apology. Their support isn’t about politics as usual, it’s about the future of our state. Iowa conservatives want conviction, not convenience. There is real faith momentum building and together, we will Keep Iowa Free.

I am honored to have the endorsement of Bob Vander Plaats!
“Adam Steen is the kind of leader Iowa needs right now,” said Vander Plaats. “He is the candidate most ready to govern, has the worldview I’m looking for, and offers us the best chance to excite voters to save Iowa from Rob Sand in November. He is a man of faith, a proven businessman, and a bold conservative who understands what is at stake for families, churches, and our state. I am proud to stand with him and encourage Iowans across the state to join this movement to Keep Iowa Free.”
🚨ICE Agitator training at St. Paul’s United Methodist CHURCH in Cedar Rapids, Iowa!
Hundreds of people went to learn how to record an arrest, blow whistles and ask if they have a warrant.
If this were my church, I’d be looking for a new one!
It’s absolutely insane to imagine a world where the government could remotely shut off your car - but even wilder to see our own Congressman Randy Feenstra voting to keep funding the federal “kill switch” mandate. Talk about taking Iowa to “new heights of insanity”.
On this day back in 1993… LeRoy Butler LEAPED into the stands for the first ever LAMBEAU LEAP!
And the rest as they say… IS HISTORY! 🧀
