@JerryBarkcia They have zero swing in their rhythm section. Even their “funk” songs don’t move like they should. It’s telling that their best songs are covers and even those are fairly lifeless. I saw them play State of the Art with Jim James and it was the most restrained I’ve ever seen JJ.
