@rogue_travis@HumbleFlow@Pontifex Mhmm…tell that to the men who fought at Lepanto and Malta.
I know all abut what you have and if I wanted it I’d go to a Byzantine Catholic Church.
@HumbleFlow@Pontifex What coward post. Be a man and hold the line. You don’t jump ship…no matter what! You remain faithful to the end even if it’s a few left.
He speaks of the flesh of man in that verse. Men leaning on their own understanding. Exactly what George is actually doing in this clip. “I can’t wrap my head around it”. And it’s clear because of one simple word. He uses the word MY when speaking of the Eucharist. “My flesh is meat indeed and MY blood is drink indeed.” Here he uses the word THE. Referring to man’s flesh and understanding. Essentially what he’s saying is; if this bothers you, you are not trusting in His words, but your own.
@mchooyah Then you’re not a practicing Catholic. If you’re willing to commit mortal sin and not participate in the mass because of a man you don’t like, with all due respect, that’s weak and cowardly…especially coming from a man of your caliber.
Join me in praying the St. Sebastian novena. It starts today the 11th and goes to the 19th. His Feast Day is the 20th, same day as the Inauguration. Let us ask his intercession for the protection of President Trump as he is sworn in.

Father Gaston Hurtubise was renowned for his deep spirituality & dedication to pastoral ministry. While delivering a sermon on the Sacred Heart of Jesus, he expressed profound devotion, stating, “God is ready to open his heart to us, to establish us in him, to eternal bliss. Thank my Lord!” Immediately after these words, he collapsed and passed away.
Do not fret—He will give you moments to breathe, to recharge, to rest in laughter and love. But then, we get back in the ring. We fight. We climb. We pursue His heart with everything we have.
Breathe and fight, men.
“Man can endure the worst of evils, but he cannot endure too much good. He can live with pain, but he cannot live with too much pleasure. That is why this earth is a place of trial, and not of perfect happiness.” -Fulton Sheen.
Men are made for hard things—God built us this way. Your fulfillment, your joy, the fullness you seek is found beneath the weight of the cross. Here, we find Christ. Here, we hear His whisper. Here, we gain clarity of mind. Here, we are humbled and made new. Here, we are forged into the men He created us to be.
It’s not about being obsessed with a six-pack—that’s effeminate, vain, or overly focused on being “balanced.”
It’s about what is good, just and right ordered
Men are out here complaining about the uninspiring ugliness of modern churches, meanwhile they walk around 50 lbs overweight and dressed like slobs.
Congrats, you can quote the Summa —you’re not inspiring anyone either, pal.
Build up the interior life, become virtuous, strive for holiness, but it should reflect in your outward frame, appearance, how you engage, converse and carry yourself.
