There's a lot to unwrap here. @NODAWOLFs network of Mansfield bad actors is, in many ways, a CA origin story.
The carrier, the broker, and the names behind the crash that killed Brandon Rogers...
Brandon Rogers, 48, died in the passenger seat of a BMW on I-10 in Beaumont on April 15, 2023. The carrier named in his family's lawsuit had 143 crashes and nine deaths in its federal crash file.
The broker changed company names...AGAIN, shortened his name, and the carrier went on to owe millions while making sure he was protected in Florida.

A second truck driver was injured and is expected to survive. Investigation ongoing.
37 students on a bus when A car crosses double yellow, clips the bus, sends it head-on into a Jeep. A 16-year-old and a 26-year-old on his way to work are dead. The bus driver did nothing wrong, and still got her kids out pinned and hurt. @NTSB is investigating. Sometimes you can do everything right and things go way wrong.
The Guaranteeing Overtime for Truckers Act fixes this.
The reason detention like this has never gone away across the industry is because there is no cost to drivers time, so they waste it with impunity.
40% capacity loss, daily.
