We kick off on Friday night, the Thailand Men's national team will be facing Kuwait in a friendly match. This is the first of two matches with the team jetting off to play China away on the 9th of June.

We are now in the final stages of the Thai League 3 Play Offs, already promoted Uttaradit and Nara United will be commencing their two legged final to determine the champions of Thai League 3. Muang Loei United and PT Satun will be competing for the final promotion place available again over two legs. The final matches will take place next weekend.

Wednesdays results from the Seniors World Cup in Ubon Ratchathani

Goals from Aaron O’Connor & a brace from Jamie Cureton sealed the win by HT. The US then had a defender red-carded, whose flailing arm poleaxed O’Connor. The imperious Gareth Barry was replaced by Lee Hendrie, an indication of their squad strength. A quality all-round display.

If anyone were in any doubt that the Seniors World Cup matters to the players, they would have been put to bed watching this feisty encounter.

The teams had both won their previous 2 games, with the winner of this match topping the group & an arguably easier semi-final. The England team was packed with talent and experience. The Americans decided that their best chance lay in turning to the dark arts - a big mistake.
