Most years, NGLL championships are held in the same city and same weekend as the NCAA women’s final 4 so all those middle school lax girls can attend the NCAA Final 4 games. Our girls look forward to it every year. This year, NGLL was the week before in Baltimore. That’s a huge whiff by the organizers. A built-in target audience from all over the country could no longer attend the final 4. Hard to believe they miss that perfect opportunity to grow the game and create lasting memories for those young girls.
