It's the 82nd anniversary of D-Day. As I write pretty much every year the bravery of those guys storming the beaches is unbelievable......I won't forget, even though I was born 13 years after that.
@caaronbrown@katrosenfield "But, that's like just your OPINION, man!" - Dude. Seriously, Twitter is mostly about opinions. Mine is cancel culture is stupid, no matter who, what or why. I don't need to read more about it. Odd to you, but I think it's a good take. Cool either way!
@katrosenfield TL;DR, actually I just don't care. I enjoy reading your posts and have purchased several of your novels. I'm sorry that happened to you, but I don't care to read about it.
@Never_Hedgee@mattyglesias Good for them, I stand corrected. Only caveat is the US has been spending like this for decades, racking up debt (myriad reasons for debt). Poland, for a couple years. But yeah, thanks for the numbers, I stand corrected.
@JustineBateman@Spotify I don't get a huge amount of streams, but Spotify pays the worst. Tidal pays the best. Apple is in the middle. I just checked a report and one song of mine had 11 streams in Feb (released late that month) and I got zero. Probably some minimum i didnt hit
@katrosenfield I'm a 69 year old grandfather, I enjoyed the movie but I really don't know what small kids would get out of it. They would probably just see sheep that can talk and gloss over the more "mature stuff". It could start conversations with the kids....
@katrosenfield I had tickets but cancelled because my wife got sick. I didn't want to be seen as a creeper at a "kids movie". We will go later this week
@RogerPielkeJr Do you think College and Pro football is sustainable with the massive amounts of money in player/coaching salaries, TV money (streaming too) and tax credits given to owners for stadiums? Not to mention betting....
@TracesofTexas Here is the history of the R.T. Dennis furniture store in Waco. There are some photos at the bottom of the article. https://t.co/xvoVF1X7wE
@TracesofTexas Many of the deaths in the Waco tornado were at my grandfather's furniture store there, R.T. Dennis. My dad drove there from Dallas to help with the recovery and missed the birth of his first child on the 14th. He only spoke about it to say that it was horrific.
@mattyglesias And I apologize about bringing politics into something that absolutely doesn't need it, but no one would EVER check to see what the political beliefs are in the person who saves the child. We are just people. We do things like this gladly.
