@melraunch1 Drought ruined the 2022-3 olive harvest and ramped up the price. Olives for the 2023-4 harvest have been reaching €1 per kilo here in Portugal and they go straight across the border to Spain. The recent rain in Iberia should mean the 2024-5 harvest will see the price drop back.

@EmiliaRollan I think the tapas bar was El Cairo on Reyes Catolicos. We used to go to a tapas bar on Calle Zaragoza but I can’t remember the name. I will ask my friends. I wrote the books from 2002-2009 and went to Seville a lot so maybe you served me some tapas.
