When did antisemitism become a trend? And why do some people who call for acceptance, love, and diversity think it's OK to be anti-Semitic?
"Love thy neighbor as you love yourself" is what I aim to achieve.
BTW, it's also wrong to discriminate against those from Palestine.
@NateForUtah They can say anything they want, that remains the same.
But they cannot accept funds from the Government if they decide to discriminate against Israel.
As much as colleges charge nowadays, they should be well-positioned to turn down government funds in the face of racism.
@prem_thakker Estimates put the Palestinian population around 6 Million. There were between 5.4-5.8 Million Jews killed during WWII. There were just shy of 75,000 Palestinians killed during this war.
60% of Jews were killed; 1.2% of Palestinians have been killed.
This is NOT the same.
@prem_thakker War is horrific no matter who starts it.
What is happening now is terrible.
What happened on October 7 was terrible.
But this is not genocide, just by pure numbers. There were around 9 Million Jews in Europe right before the start of WWII. (1/2)
@TigolBinkChitts@libsoftiktok@IowaDPS If the tire is large enough, deflating it will cause permanent damage to the sidewall, which can’t be repaired.
Nobody should mess with anybody’s stuff. Let’s start there.
@HistorianUSA1 Don’t fail classes. There are resources literally everywhere on the web, and usually through the university as well.
Remember that Italy income taxes run between 23%-43% - most middle class folks pay between 10-15 percent in the US. Everything is free - but it’s really not.
