Georgia: Scheffler. The best, not even an argument. But also so methodical about it, it bores us rather than excites us.

Notre Dame: Rory. You aren’t really a fan as much as you form a para-social relationship with them where you invest too much of yourself into cheering for them.

USC: Min Woo Lee. All sizzle, no steak.

Michigan: Bryson. Winning isn’t enough. Gotta think you are smarter and better than the competition too. Confused why no one likes you.

Penn St: Fleetwood. All the pieces are there, but when it matters, ALWAYS comes up short. Deep down the fans have accepted it.

Miami: Collin Morikawa. Fantastic history. Fallen off hard but refuses to admit they’re now a second rate team.

Oregon: Aberg. On paper everything is in place to be elite. But there’s something missing we can’t put a finger on.

Ohio St: Brooks Koepka. Elite history, one of the greats. Yet still is constantly wracked by bouts of insecurity they’ll never shake

Iowa: Denny McCarthy. Solid all around, great fundamentals. But a hard ceiling they will never ever break and will never join the top tier.

Alabama: JT. Reached the top in the most smug way possible. Rest of world will enjoy the hell out of them falling off their perch.

Texas: Cam Young. Finally reached potential. But their fans will still insist they were elite all along.

Clemson: Patrick Cantlay. Shadow of their former selves. But through smoke and mirrors of scheduling, fans still insist they belong among the elite.
