@jota_snchez Donahue was a hopeless liberal, but his show was wonderful. He talked with politicians, entertainers, authors, scientists, and more. He had a few silly tabloid topics occasionally, but generally his show was thoughtful and civilized. Wish there was something like it now.

@oliverhenry A giant fireworks show is great but you can also find some guy who lives in a neighborhood who spends $$$ doing his own backyard fireworks show. The whole neighborhood will be there. Burgers, hot dogs, and brats on the grill, beer, kids. Classic American 4th of July.

@bkravitz @Morgan_C_Ross Didn't know that was Nesterenko. Wikipedia says he was an advisor for the movie. You could tell he was a former player when you watched the movie. Did a pretty good job in that role, as I recall.
