@Rob_Pearson12 Thank you so much for all your hard work with the team over so many years. You have been such a positive influence on so many young men. Ian had one of his best years of hockey with you and so many great memories. Best wishes to you always.
In January, I notified the Pickering Panthers that I wouldn’t return as head coach and GM for 2025-26. Thank you to the OJHL, my incredible staff, and the players who taught me so much. Grateful to Mark Bull and Richard Pilosof for the opportunity and memories.
It was a pleasure to work with @Rob_Pearson12 side by side for 5 plus years, taught me how to be professional, tough and fair.
The things we made happen in Pickering were truly magical and will never be forgotten in my path towards my hockey career.
What a run Pears!
Congratulations to Karianne Engelbert for being named to the ECAC Hockey All-Rookie Team!
Engelbert is only the second player in DI program history to be named to a team following Lundy Day ‘09 who was named to the ECAC Hockey Third Team in the 2007-08 season.
Most recently, Engelbert scored both goals in the first ever playoff victory in program history against Brown University on Saturday, February 22. With the two goals, she broke the school Division I record for most points by a rookie in a season and now has 24 points on the year.
In her first 35 career games, Engelbert has tallied 15 goals and nine assists. Her 15 goals are tied for second in the single-season D-I record books, and she is tied for second overall in single-season points at the D-I level, as well. She also ranks second in the school’s D-I annals with her three game-winning goals and six power-play goals so far this season.
Congratulations, Bert!
