After a wonderful start to the season just a few short weeks ago, we’re busy preparing for our next concert, Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, accompanied by the Corelli Orchestra. It’s your warm-up for Christmas, just as you know and love it. Pic: @whitefootphoto
An amazing and moving coincidence that this year’s newly revealed @LondonMarathon medal is in Braille, after our dear daughter lost her sight only a few weeks ago. Please support me and @helengrote as we run for @GOSHCharity next Sunday if you are able! https://t.co/Vq6wJhQh6l
SINGING GUIDANCE UPDATE
The government has stated that we can no longer expect tenors sing quieter and, from 19 July, guidance indicates we must learn to live with loud tenors.
We can’t go over it, we can’t go under it, and we definitely can’t go through it, so we’ll just have to go beside it. So good to welcome singers back to somewhere near @GlosCathedral! #Singing#reopening#Gloucester
Please retweet this: @DCMS is ignorant of singing. The restrictions just imposed after thousands of choirs booked rehearsal spaces make a mockery of this hugely beneficial activity. If people can hug, breathe over eachother in pubs & infect waiters in restaurants why no singing?
Good news! We’re working hard on our plans for next season and will be sharing more details of next season’s plans this summer🌞. First we’re getting the choir back together in small groups after months of Zoom rehearsals! 🎵💻 Keep safe and stay dry! 🌦 #reopening
It’s Boxing Day again (sort of) so if you missed our live Carols from @GlosCathedral on Saturday, here’s a link to Carols for All info and video https://t.co/koIMNMvZvN
