Watch the exclusive trailer for the Aisling Franciosi-starring horror movie 'Stopmotion,' which director Robert Morgan says is "about the relationship between creativity and madness." https://t.co/w6D5YAqkql
'Stopmotion' subverts genre expectations with a unique take on the mad artist narrative featuring a career-defining performance from Aisling Franciosi. Read @mbmcandrews review from #FantasticFest2023. https://t.co/aqQAhbmWOT
Some great responses to @Rob__Morgan 's film, Stopmotion, starring Aisling Franciosi (and production designed by Flo) which just had its world premiere at Fantastic Fest in Austin, TX
Catch it at London Film Festival next month: https://t.co/ph768ILk64
STOPMOTION is an absolute stunner. The animation itself is disgustingly beautiful & nightmarish, giving the movie a special layer of creepy. Aisling Franciosi is brilliant as Ella as she fully loses perspective to grief & her need to create. Finale will make you squirm & wince🦵
Fantastic Fest film #15: Stopmotion is crazy. The animation feels like it’s straight out of a Tool music video and there’s some wicked gore that actually made me wince. Truly bananas horror. #FantasticFest
Stopmotion is absolutely incredible, exactly what I was hoping a Robert Morgan feature length film could be. Morgan handles the live action portions like a pro, and the animated segments are amazing. If you’re a fan of Jan Svankmajer or the Brothers Quay, buckle up.
Let's give a round of applause to:
👏 STOPMOTION's Robert Morgan for winning Best Director in the Main Competition Features section.
Killer spider movie, INFESTED, for taking home Best Picture and Sébastien Vaniček for Best Director in the Horror Features section. #FantasticFest
